Situated in the small hamlet of Stoke Doyle, just a mile and a half from the picturesque market town of Oundle, the Shuckburgh Arms, though a traditional pub, has a stylish new interior with a contemporary edge. The original fireplace, complete with stained glass window still remains, as do the exposed beams.

Don Harding has created an extensive menu which combines the freshest seasonal ingredients, and all meat produce sourced locally where possible. The dining areas offer a relaxed, cosy and informal environment.

There is a choice of Roasts on Sunday and children’s portions of most dishes are available.

Real Ales include local brewers Digfield Ales’ popular Fools Nook and Barnwell Bitter and also Guest Ales - Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and Black Sheep. We offer San Miguel, Carlsberg and Export lagers and a large selection of wine.

The large family garden overlooks beautiful countryside. There is an adventure play area to amuse the children along with plenty of seating and a new decking area. The Alpacas in the field opposite are a big attraction and are always very inquisitive!

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation has also been refurbished to a high standard. All with ensuite bathrooms, they are very comfortable and decorated with natural colours.
